Christmas Cards

Sponsor Planting Native Trees
As a Laird or Lady you might want to sponsor the planting of more than one tree. We now offer the planting of native trees such as Rowan, Ash, Birch, Beech, Alder and Whitebeam at £20 per tree with a minimum sponsorship of 5 trees. Your trees will be labelled, and if you sponsor 20 trees or more we will place a brass plaque with your name at the site of the planting.

Christmas Postage
Please refer to Christmas postage rates. Choose the correct quantity in the cart. For example, between 3rd and 11th December postage to Australasia costs £60 so choose 60 in the quantities field.
Electric Deeds
This is a surcharge to cover the generation of the electric version of your deed of entitlement and associated papers. If you require this service, you must pay for this as well as your title. We will send out the hardcopy of your deeds etc. at the first available opportunity. These deeds will print on any injet or laser black and white printer.
Souvenir Presentation Folder v1
The souvenir presentation folder is a beautiful way of presenting Lairds’ and Ladies’ documents. We have decided to offer Lairds and Ladies the opportunity to purchase these folders as they become available. Over time we will be altering them as work at the castle continues, creating a valuable and very beautiful archive of the project to which you are contributing.
Electric Laird
For when you need a gift immediately via email!
Simply choose the gift you wish to give, purchase it, and you will receive a link from which you can download the package. Then you can personalise it, print it all out and present it.
Shortly afterwards, you’ll get the hardcopy through in the post with the signed and sealed deed of entitlement, a letter from Charles, a handwritten card and much else besides.

NB. The difference between Slate and Stone titles is that the latter includes the planting of a tree in honour of the laird or lady. The Marble package is for a couple and includes the planting of a couple of trees.

The grounds of Dunans and the surrounding countryside have inspired the choice of gemstones for this range of jewellery, whether it’s Amethyst reflecting the purple of heather flowers or hematite reminiscent of the slick stones around a waterfall. The collection also features Smoky Quartz, the national gemstone of Scotland.

Through The Castle Window
This fabulous image was taken in February 2013 by Jean Donaldson. It shows in magnificent detail both the challenge which ScottishLaird.com is answering, and also the workmanship which went into building the castle in 1864. It also shows in the foreground how the Virginia creeper is climbing the exterior walls.

LECHADHU
Dunans Castle is adorned with many arcane devices and crests. Perhaps the most visually arresting is the Fletcher-Stewart insignia on the curtain wall. Here Jean Donaldson has captured the grit and grain of one of the building’s most well-loved crests.
